They Fell is undergoing a few minor changes, which may cause a glitch here or there for the next couple days.

The main change is that reviews will once again each have their own page. I'll still be sticking with the mini reviews for the most part, but individual review pages will allow those searching the internet to find the reviews easier.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Big Throbbing Gristle News and the Return of Industrial Records

It's been 30 years since the release of The Second Annual Report, Throbbing Gristle's first album, which is considered by most to be the first ever industrial album. To commemorate this, TG is releasing a special limited edition of the album called The Thirty-Second Annual Report.

The album is limited to 777 copies, exactly the same as the original, and can be pre-ordered now. Here's what you'll get:

"12" 180gm vinyl LP comprises a recording of Throbbing Gristle's live demonstration at La Villette in Paris on 6th June 2008 at which they performed a reinterpretation of their original album. This album is pre-framed in bespoke, high-quality white gloss acrylic with an easy access clear window for removal of the record/sleeve and ready to hang. Purchasers of this unique object will also receive a special 'black' extended CD version, which includes extra tracks that would not fit on the vinyl format. In addition, all buyers will have access to a free digital download of the extended version and a PDF booklet of text and photos on the albums release."

Throbbing Gristle also announced the re-activation of the Industrial Records label, which is the original industrial label and namesake of the industrial genre. The label was at one time home to acts like Clock DVA, Leather Nun, William S. Burroughs, and more.

New Depeche Mode Album in April '09

Icons Depeche Mode have announced that their still untitled 12th album will be released in April of 2009.

No details are known about the album, but there's much speculation and rumored controversy already. The band's last album,
Playing The Angel, was the first to feature songwriting by frontman Dave Gahan (the lyrics having mostly been the territory of Martin Gore). This is causing rumors to fly as to whether or not the next album will also showcase Gahan's lyrical assistance.
